Where do we find in Peru?

Yes, in Peru can be found 6 species of albatrosses and 37species of petrels. They stay along the coast flying over oceanic waters. The albatrosses are generally oceanic species (far from the coast) and only reach the land to build their nests. It is different for petrels, which are coastal species. In addition, most of these birds are migratory; they travel by the whole world crossing different seas. For example the Waved albatross, nest on the Galapagos Islands (Ecuador) and when is adult, it moves along Ecuadorian and Peruvian sea. The Peruvian Diving Petrel nest on some islands of Peru and Chile, moving along both countries. Other albatrosses and petrels that visit Peru, nest in other countries like Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
